Seung-wan has long brown hair and brown eyes. Both of her parents have left for AFTER, and the only family she has left is her older sister. Her sister lives near her on one of the lower class floors, and they both take care of each other as best they can. Neither married, and neither have any interest in AFTER, but Seung-wan is open for love, and hopes that one day she can find it.
In her spare time, Seung-wan likes to design new fabrics. She doesn't have the materials or opportunities to design with physical textiles, but she has a large sketch book where she keeps her drawings and pattern designs. She hopes that one day, one of the seamstresses will buy her designs. It would be nice to have a least a little bit of money besides the bare minimum that the government provides.
Besides sketching, Seung-wan loves venturing to the tattoo shop and watching the artists work. Though she could never be a tattoo artist, and she's too afraid to get a tattoo, she finds it peaceful to watch the artists leave their marks on the customer's skin. Also, she thinks one of the artists is cute and secretly wants to talk to her, but she's too afraid to make a move. She's told her sister about her crush, and her sister is supportive, if not overbearing. Every time they walk by the tattoo shop, Seung-wan's sister nudges her and points at the tattoo artist, which Seung-wan thinks is so embarrassing.
She hopes that one day Jisang-Eseo will solve its pollution problem, but she knows it's unlikely. She doesn't like living in the lower class floor, and she can't wait to get the opportunity to move up higher in the tower. She would prefer to rise through hard-work and selling her textile designs, but she's accepted that it's not likely to happen.
